Ive heard dazzle is ok for beginners who just want to get some gameplay or maybe record some gb for video proof.

I think for some of the machinima guys use Hauppauge to get the real good quality.

Might want to ask someone who knows more though.

I got the HDPVR, and i don't regret buying it. So if you have the money to cough up i'd say go for it.

I have used both the Dazzle and the Hauppauge, and both work well. Obviously the Hauppauge gives you much better quality, but the Dazzle is much cheaper and easier to use.

i am getting an intensity(black magic) I think. waiting on funds but looks like 200 bucks and its portable. allows me to use my hdmi and wont cause a video lag.
